| I would hate to see some valued tt.net members get hurt unnecessarily. Another thing came to mind as well....if the insurance investigated the car after an accident and found that a different airbag was used, that could lead to some serious ramifications with regard to whether they would pay out for damages. And while I don't know this as 100% fact, I'm sure that in some cases this could lead to some legal issues as well if the insurance co. wanted to be a real PITA. Airbags are a federally mandated requirement and tampering with them can literally be a federal offense. OK, I think I've drenched the parade - party on..... Dave
